Straight answers
Excavator glass questions
How fast can I get it?
Stocked panes ordered before 2pm leave the same working day and are with you next working day on a UK mainland address. If a pane needs bringing in we tell you the lead time before you pay, not after.
I don’t know the part number. Can you still help?
Yes — that’s the normal case. Use the finder at the top of this page to search by make and model, or send a photo of the machine plus the broken pane and the serial plate. We’ll identify it for you.
Is it the same as the original glass?
It’s made to the original specification — same thickness, curvature, tint and hole positions — so it fits and performs like the pane it replaces. We’ll tell you plainly whether a given pane is OEM or an equivalent.
Can I fit it myself?
Most bolt-in and slider panes are a straightforward workshop job with the right sealant or rubber. Bonded windscreens are better left to a glazier. We’ll tell you which type yours is before you order.
What if the wrong pane arrives, or it doesn’t fit?
Tell us and we’ll sort it. If we identified it, we cover it — we’ll get the right pane to you and collect the wrong one.
Do you supply trade and plant hire fleets?
Yes. A large share of our work is hire fleets and plant dealers who need machines off the yard and back on hire fast. Ask about account pricing and standing stock for your common machines.
Not sure which pane you need?
Send us a photo of the machine and the broken pane. We’ll identify it and quote it back — usually within the hour on a working day.
